TVS Motor Company continues to strengthen its position in India’s electric two-wheeler market, with strong growth in EV sales and several important updates to its iQube range. The company’s latest sales figures show that consumer interest in TVS electric scooters is rising significantly.
According to TVS Motor Company, its electric two-wheeler sales reached 59,453 units in August 2026, compared with 25,138 units in August 2025. This represents a 137% year-on-year increase. Overall, TVS sold 616,540 vehicles during August, recording 21% growth compared with the same month last year.
A major recent milestone for TVS is the achievement of one million iQube families. To celebrate this milestone, the company introduced the TVS iQube MillionR Special Edition in August. Based on the 3.5 kWh version, it offers a claimed IDC range of 145 km and comes with an exclusive Aurora Green Dual Tone colour, premium seat upholstery and MillionR branding.
The MillionR Edition also receives practical upgrades, including a front utility storage compartment, increasing total storage capacity to 35.5 litres, along with a Type-C charging port and more than 118 connected technology features. TVS has priced this special edition at ₹1,40,138 effective ex-showroom Karnataka.
Another important update is the new TVS iQube 2.3 kWh entry-level variant. It replaces the earlier 2.2 kWh version while retaining a reported Bengaluru ex-showroom price of ₹1.16 lakh before applicable subsidy. The claimed IDC range has increased from 94 km to 114 km, although peak power and top speed are lower than the outgoing model.
With expanding product choices, rising sales and continued updates to its electric scooter portfolio, TVS is increasing its presence in India’s rapidly developing EV market. The company’s recent performance indicates that electric mobility remains an important part of its future two-wheeler strategy.
